“Choose your own adventure” at Drew Nieporent’s “refined” TriBeCa “experience” , where “praiseworthy” European-influenced New American fare comes in a “whimsical” , customizable tasting menu format, matched with an “off-the-hook” , “mostly French” wine list; factor in “gracious” service, and fans say the “high-end” tab is almost “reasonable” “considering the quality.”

1 of the best! Steak Tartare, Duck Breast, Lobster, each dish was perfect. Souffle was a spectacular presentation! Wine list fairly priced, many reasonable beers also. Excellent service. 1 minor complaint was on the coffee served. Had the 4 course option and would highly recommend that. Even the tiny dinner roll was excellent!

Honestly, expected more from a Michelin 1-star considering the other 1, 2, and 3 star places I've tried. The food was so-so and the service left much to be desired. The cocktails were better in comparison.

This is my second time visit Bâtard. It’s a really nice restaurant with great environment. Pretty hard to find from outside tho. All dishes are pretty and a little bit too salty. The octopus dish is their signature dish, look really cute, taste okay. Love their Italian wedding soup and the pear dessert that comes with a cheese flavor 🍨 . They have a lot of different flavor ice cream btw.
