Service

An "attractive" brasserie setting complements the sausage boards, "fresh mussels" and other "very good" Belgian fare matched with a "huge list of beers" at this Cow Hollow "local joint" ; regulars who tout the "moderate prices" and "fun atmosphere" keep it "crowded" and "loud as can be."

Casual Belgian brassiere with a cozy feel, but enough space for a group. Solid execution on classic comfort foods, but not many options for a light meal beyond some uninspired salads. Comfortable and kid friendly with laid back, but accommodating service.

The service is ok. They try their best, but I think I went there when they were short on staff or during very busy hours. The three stars is mainly for the food, and it's a subjective rating. All the ingredients were clean and fresh, but the food itself just didn't suit my palette. It is still an excellent place to go to though if you're looking to try some German cuisine.

We stopped in for some snacks and beers and sat outside. The deviled eggs were the best thing we had, they had a very generous portion of caviar on top. Very interesting menu and great ambiance!
