Service

Fisherman's Wharf bread buffs who "watch and smell" the signature sourdough being made at this "old favorite" head upstairs to its "semi-fancy" dining space, where "must-not-miss" clam chowder is served along with other "hearty" , "basic" Cal dishes; service is "efficient" but "limited" amid the "hustle and bustle" of "tourists" vying for the "beautiful" views of the bay.

Really nice experience on a cold day. Clam chowder in sourdough bowl was really nice and beetroot candies walnut apple salad. Only thing is that the bistro is quite overpriced in comparison to the bakery. Just a petite (miniature sized) bread bowl was 16 dollars and a beetroot salad 15 dollars. Clam chowder was nice but I’ve had far better in Rhode Island- this one lacked chunky bits- it was super smooth- I guess no potatoes and few clams

If you are San Francisco and near Pier 39 the must b Visit place is this Bistro Boudin. Their Crab and Corn is the food to try. Also their bakery must visit. Food was awesome yummy here. We also tried lasagna it was also tasty. Loved the service here.

They have some incredible food and the bread is amazing. Must-try the clam chowder and the bread bowls are so good. The selection of food here and the bread is simply astounding. You can find something for anyone.
