Intimate, reservation-only fine dining
New American · Bushwick · $$$$
The Zagat Review
Set in a sleek, “industrial yet intimate” space behind Bushwick hit Roberta’s, this “culinary tour de force” from Carlo Mirarchi presents a “simply unreal” New American tasting menu – 20-plus “playful” courses – at a 12-seat counter facing the kitchen; prepare for “special-occasion pricing” ($195 a pop, not including wine), but it’s one for “any serious eater's NYC list.”

Very detailed and story telling cuisine. Japanese and Italian fusion. Good sake and wine. I live Roberta's bread for sides.

This is what a tasting menu is supposed to be. In every sense there is no better way to spend two hours eating, at any cost. Vinyl music playing, staff super friendly and helpful, and the food ... well. Just go. I've been all over the world and had some amazing meals from $0.50 Mumbai street food to $1000 white glove and this was a contender for best ever.
