We tried B.O.bbq on their last day of operation at the old location. The menu was limited, but we could tell this was a restaurant we would revisit. Upon our return to the Crescent City, we headed for Blue Oak. The new establishment better suits customers, despite the cramped quarters. The restaurant staff is friendly. The food is outstanding. Portions are smaller than I would expect, but they are still satisfying. Best barbecue I've tried in N.O. so far. It's located directly on the streetcar line, so getting there was a breeze.

Absolutely amazing food! My co-workers and I went there for the first time today for lunch. I can't wait to go back. Everyone loved the sandwiches. I got the pulled pork. Best pulled pork sandwich i have ever ate. The pork was cooked perfectly, not dry, juicy and full of favor.

This is the best damned brisket, brussels sprouts, and pork crackling I've ever had. Make sure to specifically order the fatty brisket to get the deliciously fatty side of their cut-with-a-fork beef brisket. I loved the cool ranch cracklings and it's definitely enough for 4 or more to share. Prices are great and the bartender Chris pours a mean glass of whiskey!
