Blue Ribbon Federal Grill
Eclectic eatery with steaks & seafood
American · Financial District · $$$
The eclectic menu is strong on steaks, burgers and seafood (including caviar and chilled fruits de mer) at this Bromberg Brothers branch inside the AKA Wall Street. Clean woods, warm tones and soft lighting accent the dining room and bar, where cocktails and wines are joined by thoughtful 'no-proof' fizzes.

Liam and Zoe were amazing, gave great service and offered fun conversation. Steak and eggs were delicious. Loved the red wine sauce on the steak and potatoes were crispy and yummy. Best brunch ever. This place is a must go

We had the best experience here. It was a recommendation from our concierge and what a great recommendation. Our server was Michael and the service was very very good. Even the host came around to make sure everything tasted good. The burger with egg and cheese was cooked perfectly. The coffee was so good as well as the tea. The French toast with fried chicken is a great choice as well. It's a great atmosphere and was very quiet while we were there. Would definitely come again and recommend to anyone in the area.

Update: So I went for lunch today and I must say that all the issues I had with the place the first time I went were COMPLETELY ironed out. First off, the service was impeccable. We mustve been asked at least 5x how everything was going. The lunch menu was delicious with a special award going to the bone marrow and oxtail appetizer. Truly an amazing dish. Drinks were expertly made and again the service was top notch. I will most definitely be back again. Went for a breakfast meeting at the new AKA Hotel downtown. The service seemed unrefined. Waiters asking for orders twice, not delivering the right food to the right seat, etc.. The food however was good. The lox was fresh, the ham quiche was made well and the bacon and potato sides were good. However I don't think I would return only because there are better places in the area.
