“Awe-inspiring” sushi and other “cut-above” Japanese bites get a “creative fusion spin” at this still- “hip” NoHo veteran known for drawing the “glitterati” into its “sexy” dining room and “fun” downstairs lounge; yes, prices are “steep” and service can be just so-so, but fans say “sit at the sushi bar” and you “won’t be disappointed.”

This is absolutely my favorite sushi/Asian fusion restaurant in the world. The culinary experience is nothing short of awe inspiring. The atmosphere is amazing, comfortable, and has such a welcoming layout. The location could not be more perfect on one of the widest cobblestone streets still remaining in NY - no wonder "A List" celebrities live immediately around this place and frequent it often. The drinks are no doubt concocted with innovation, creativity, imagination, and a bit of courage to culminate into some of the finest and most unique cocktails I have ever enjoyed. The staff, especially Thomas, is simply amazing. This is a "Must Try" for anyone living in, near, or visiting NY. This little gem will surely not disappoint.

Overall, most elements of BondSt were great! The service was on point and our waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The Braised Short Ribs and Chilean Sea Bass were spectacular. However, the grilled octopus and eggplant were more basic, but still decent. Would recommend for special occasions because it's on the pricier end of the spectrum.

Food is always great here. The tuna tart is amust, but all their sushi is frwsh and delicious. The service was what really stood out. Our waiter was very attentive, with a sense of humor and clearly took pride in his work. We will be back!
