Stylish sushi spot

The Zagat Review
“Awe-inspiring” sushi and other “cut-above” Japanese bites get a “creative fusion spin” at this still- “hip” NoHo veteran known for drawing the “glitterati” into its “sexy” dining room and “fun” downstairs lounge; yes, prices are “steep” and service can be just so-so, but fans say “sit at the sushi bar” and you “won’t be disappointed.”

my recent experience here confirmed its still a great chic sushi spot to dine at. regrettably, a lo5 of the old boh staff that made this place magical to begin with have moved on, of course to greener pastures i imagine. Service and management is still spot on but the effort into the actual hospitality is a little too oriented in the "fashion" and not the plate itself...

This is absolutely my favorite sushi/Asian fusion restaurant in the world. The culinary experience is nothing short of awe inspiring. The atmosphere is amazing, comfortable, and has such a welcoming layout. The location could not be more perfect on one of the widest cobblestone streets still remaining in NY - no wonder "A List" celebrities live immediately around this place and frequent it often. The drinks are no doubt concocted with innovation, creativity, imagination, and a bit of courage to culminate into some of the finest and most unique cocktails I have ever enjoyed. The staff, especially Thomas, is simply amazing. This is a "Must Try" for anyone living in, near, or visiting NY. This little gem will surely not disappoint.

The best contemporary Japanese fusion in town! Tuna tart with truffle is a must order. Mostly all cold and hot apps are very delicious. Also go for omakase Sushi/Sashimi. Very fresh, tasty, and impressive decor. The last, mochi ice cream is the best in town! Very nice and friendly staffs too. Not to mention they had a great cocktails list. Go for it! Absolutely will be back.
