Chef-restaurateur Frank Bonanno "wins again" with this "nouvelle" Capitol Hill "noodle house" where the "soulful" East-West fusion eats include "outrageous" pork buns and "decadent lobster ramen" paired with "offbeat wines" and "refreshing cocktails" ; while a few critics cite a lack of "elbow room" in the "tiny" space (and the conversely "hefty cost" ), fans "find it intimate" and appreciate the "emphasis on service" as well.

I went here for restaurant week and am so glad I did. Definitely a unique experience. The staff are incredibly warm and efficient. And the atmosphere is very relaxed. I ordered the duck bun, poke bowl and the Thai basil panna cotta and I still can't decide which course was my favorite! I can't wait to go back!

Been a frequent customer here, ramen is always on point and the wait staff and manager have always been very helpful and accommodating. The rice bowls, like the curry, have consistently impressed. I recommend Bones to all my friends and am always looking to take new groups here.

I had the crispy chicken noodle bowl and an assortment of each of their hot buns. Delicious broth and generous portions. Get some of the hot buns if you go. They are pillowy and delicious I particularly liked the pork belly bun. It's a small place but cozy, but also romantic in that like, hole-in-the-wall, come here when it's snowing with your date and enjoy the ambiance of a soft night and delicious noodle bowls together, kinda way. I'm excited to visit again.
