Chef-restaurateur Frank Bonanno "wins again" with this "nouvelle" Capitol Hill "noodle house" where the "soulful" East-West fusion eats include "outrageous" pork buns and "decadent lobster ramen" paired with "offbeat wines" and "refreshing cocktails" ; while a few critics cite a lack of "elbow room" in the "tiny" space (and the conversely "hefty cost" ), fans "find it intimate" and appreciate the "emphasis on service" as well.

I had the crispy chicken noodle bowl and an assortment of each of their hot buns. Delicious broth and generous portions. Get some of the hot buns if you go. They are pillowy and delicious I particularly liked the pork belly bun. It's a small place but cozy, but also romantic in that like, hole-in-the-wall, come here when it's snowing with your date and enjoy the ambiance of a soft night and delicious noodle bowls together, kinda way. I'm excited to visit again.

Bones has perfected the noodle bowl. This quaint restaurant has limited seating which I believe adds to its charm. It is an open kitchen which allows you to watch your food being prepared right before you. The chefs are always friendly and enjoy explaining how your entrees are being prepared. So if you so it right you can learn some tips from the pros. home with you and try on your own. The ramen bowls are some of the best I've ever had and it does not hurt that they have an excellent wine and sake menu. The menu is always changing so you'll never get bored with this hidden gem.

One of my favorite places in town. Cozy, quaint, and always a great meal. Make reservations ahead of time, as it is a small spot and can fill up quickly. Pork buns for daysssssss.
