Bottega Cafe
Italian specialties in a chic space
Cafe · $$
A more laid-back environment than sister spot Bottega Dining Room, this cafe in the historic Bottega Favorita building offers an Italian menu of pastas, pizzas and more paired with international wines. Standout red walls are offset by rustic decor of light-wood tables, oversized modern light fixtures and playful Pop Art.

This little cafe is awesome. Customers do not want for anything, and you can tell they pride themselves on it. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, the prices are more than reasonable- just an all around phenomenal establishment. Even the valet is impressive- had the car ready to go before we even made it out to the curb. If you haven't made it out here yet, you should. You won't be disappointed.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would....I dined in the restaurant, not the cafe. The service was great and the food was very good. I ordered a sausage and pasta dish, but felt it was way to salty. I would've liked to have tasted other flavors. While my dish wasn't the best, I tried 2 other dishes that were amazing. And, the individuals I dined with favored mine. Overall, I had a good experience and service. I would go again. Michael, our waiter, I believe was his name was very pleasant and helpful.

Best in Birmingham! Eclectic menu. Fried chicken liver app best anywhere. Melt in your mouth good. Always have a special that is very special. Service? Outstanding as well. Atmosphere? Also outstanding. Barstools? Too hard, need a more comfortable bar seat. Chance of returning again? 100% yes.
