Boulevard is a great venue to take clients. We took a large group of clients here and had a relatively good experience. While the restaurant has great ambiance and is very clean, the food I would rate at a 3/5 stars. We ordered many items on the menu. Here is what I got: - Crab soup (soup of the day) - $10 - very delicious, but the soup was a bit water-y. Also, there was barely any crab given. - Kobe Steak $26 - I ordered medium rare, but it came pretty rare. It was so chewy that it was very difficult to swallow. I would not recommend getting it again. The potato and greens that came with it were much better. - Sodas are not free refills (just FYI) - ended up paying $22 for about 6 sodas - they don't warn you of this either - Scallops - very small portions unfortunately. We ordered one for everybody. Overall, the experience was great, but the food was lacking, especially at over $40 a person. I would come back, but be hesitant to eat what I previously tried.

My friend & I absolutely adore Boulevard! From the ambience, the pleasant professionalism in service, the vibrant atmosphere, the excellence in presentation, and the manner in which the ingredients per plate compliment and bring out the best in each other in texture and flavor. At one point, my friend leaned in and said, "You know, every single person in here is happy!" Give it a go.

The food was simple and classic and boy is it tasty. My fish was perfectly cooked and my plate was basically licked clean. The interior decor reminds me somewhat of a wine cellar that was turned into an elegant home. The bricks on the ceiling and airy feel from the wall of windows looking out into the streets of San Francisco make it urban enough to enjoy a "night out on the town". The attire is business casual although, I don't believe they'll turn anyone away. This is San Francisco after all. Valet is right outside for those hard-to-find parking spots so no need to plan for extra parking time. This restaurant is truly a gem within a city on the bay.
