Whether you're on "a first date" or with your spouse, you'll "feel like you're having an affair" at this "dark" , "clubby" "insiders'" "secret" in Cow Hollow, where a "solid" American menu of "old-school" "favorites like creamed spinach" and "sumptuous" steak is "served late into the night" , accompanied by "generous beverages without the fuss" ; prices are "reasonable" , but "don't forget your cash" , because they don't take credit cards.

There is nothing to even let you know that this place is a restaurant. I found out about it from hotel staff. It is very cozy inside. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The food is amazing! As others have mentioned, it is a cash or debit card only establishment. I am frequently in SF for work, and I make sure I eat here at least once each trip.

Kitchen is open until 1am and is a must go if you miss regular dinning hrs in the area ending ~9:30 pm. The salmon with veggies and mash potatoes is my personal favorite but $24 is a hefty price to drop on late night eats so usually opt for Cesar salad or French onion soup which won't disappoint. They also give you a basket of garlic bread that is addictive. Full bar with heavy hands on the pours. Always old dudes around to flirt with young girls, which of course is all part of the cash and debit only appeal.

Great service and outstanding bartenders that made our group of out of towers feel welcome. Good food served until 1am. Had prime rib sliders, French onion soup and escargot at midnight. All outstanding!
