Was trying to get reservation couple of times, the guys on the phone are not nice at all... I booked online a table for 4, a week ago...called to ask if we can change the reservation from 4 ppl to 6. The guy on phone suddenly tells me “I’m sorry we decided to close today due to a problem we have” So if I would not be calling,i would have come to the restaurant to find out the are close... I get that they want to be a high end restaurant with an amazing menu..but with a service like this that is not gonna happen! There are lot more places in Dallas with an amazing menu and the Service is not less than perfect!

The new standard for French fare in Dallas. West downtown desperately needed a dining destination outside of the Omni, and Bullion is sure to deliver. The ambiance suits anything from a special date to a business dinner. Cocktails were exquisite (try the Bonne Chance if you want your life to change for the better) and the lamb sirloin was perfection. They're still working out a few new-spot kinks, but nothing that won't settle after another few weeks. When they ran low on truffle for my risotto at the end of the night, a manager brought it out with sincere apologies and comped the dish. Was probably unnecessary because I don't think I would have noticed the difference as the dish still looked and smelled full of truffle, but shows a serious dedication to quality on the part of the kitchen and the staff. Service was knowledgable and pleasant - the wait staff, especially in the lounge, makes you feel cooler than you are without being overbearing or unapproachable. Best part is that it won't break the bank - it's priced just the same if not better than other French spots in Dallas, but you won't find anything close to the quality of Chef Bruno Davaillion's food without importing it from France.
