The "exotic flavors of Burma" are showcased at this "destination" chainlet where the seemingly "flown-in-from-Rangoon" offerings are both "flavorful" and "inexpensive" (the "sublime" tea-leaf salad is a "must-order" item); given its "ridiculously popular" status, expect "ever-present" lines, but those who "believe the hype" are willing to "endure the wait."

Amazing, no wait.. AMAZING tea leaf salads, coconut rice, sesame chicken.. the ambiance inside when I went to pick up my order was very cosy and intimate (but not quiet due to size and crowd). Noticing it from the street is a little tricky although I did have my GPS on. And once I found it, parking was impossible because it is on Telegraph's main street. Glad I was only picking up to go. Finally, as amazing and filling their salad is, their prices are high. I thought I would pick up twice or three times a week from there. But at this price, once every 2 or 3 weeks will have to do. Delicious tea leaf salad, did I mention that?

Loved eating here. When I went there was a line already, but it didn't take too long to get a seat for two after getting on the list. The space itself was really nice. Lively, but not too much noise. The beers on tap were good, as well as their mixed drinks. I have the restaurant's cookbook, so it was great to have those meals made there, even better than at home. They also had pretty big portions, so I couldn't finish everything.

I absolutely love this place! They have the most delicious sumusa soup and I enjoyed one of the spicy tofu noodle dishes. Highly recommend this place to others. Not good for larger groups at busier times.
