Vibrant Nuevo Latino restaurant & bar

The Zagat Review
It “always feels like a party” at these “casual” , “colorful” Nuevo Latinos where “nicely spiced” chow and “rocket-fuel” mojitos make for a “happening” vibe; the “noise factor” and “erratic” service may be sore points, but at least the tabs are “reasonable.”

Great tasting Latin food. The service was fast and friendly. They had the best rice and beans I've ever had in a Latin restaurant!!! Their soup of the day didn't disappoint, it didn't taste like the stock soup I assumed it would be. Overall, the food served was quality and freshly made. Thank you!

It's a nice little Cuban restaurant located in the heart of Forest Hills. I ordered the steak and rice (I don't remember what it's called, but there's only one meat and rice dish on the menu). The waiter asked if I wanted plantanos, which I said, YES! My friends and I also ordered a pitcher of Sangria. The drink was too sweet for me, a nice cold Corona would have been better. The food came out, it was cooked perfectly. More rice would have been nice, and maybe a side of vegetables would have been nice. The waiter was nice, the front hostess was nice, and overall great place to eat. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was how small it is... my gosh, it is crowded, and it's like they found a way to barely fit enough tables while avoiding going over the max occupancy.

Great atmosphere, good food, great drinks. I usually order the steak that comes with an amazing chimichurri sauce. Their shrimp in garlic sauce is my second choice. I've come here for birthdays with a large group and for dates.
