A “wonderful vibe” has evolved at this “quaint” West Village bistro, a bona fide “nabe fave” thanks to “appetizing” Franco-American cooking served in a “bright” space; since the weekend brunch can be a “free-for-all” , regulars say “arrive early.”
Charming cozy atmosphere. Knowledgeable pleasant wait staff. The fresh seasonal fruit at brunch was perfectly sweet and ripe. Fried chicken sandwich had a crispy exterior with a moist succulent inside consisting of dark meat. In a fluffy toasted brioche bun. With onion jam sweetly caramelized to a sticky glaze texture. The Market squash bowl was diverse with textures and flavors that married nicely.

Quiet at breakfast and late lunch. Crazy-crowded from 7:30 on at dinner. Good French bistro food. Excellent service. Great prix fixe 3-course dinner deal from 5:30-6:30--be sure to make a reservation.
