By “now a neighborhood landmark” , this “perennial favorite” brings a “touch of glamour” to the UWS with its “arty” , “adult” crowd, Parisian atmosphere and “jolly” mood; the “simple” French cooking is “delicious” enough, but the “stargazing” and “eavesdropping” are even better.

A nice little place. I like the food and the whole European atmosphere. Quite authentic. However, despite the fact that we had a reservation, we had to wait for more than 30 mins to get to our table. Of course waiters and hostess apologized for the wai, but it felt like a built in characteristic. This was my first time, so I can't judge - but it had the feel of a place that wants to create an image of desired by the number of people waiting to be seated. I had a good burger and a nice martini

I like the place, looks like an old fashion French dinner, the attention is amazing and the food is wonderful I strongly recommend this place. I tried the onion soup and the salmon egg Benedict’s. Also! The French fries are extra crispy and delicious!!

Probably one of the best restaurants in New York. You will never have a bad experience here -- these people know how to run a restaurant. The menu is great--lots of options, seasonal specials, and old favorites, where even picky eaters can find something--the food is always great, they always accommodate any special requests or substitutions with a smile. We usually order omelettes, well done, in my family. I've been going here since I was a kid. Lots of celebrities eat here, too; I think I've seen Matt Dillon (an UWS local) here so many times that we give each other nods of recognition now. Unless you have an "in" with the hostess, it's very hard to get a table here for brunch, so plan ahead.
