Kurt Gutenbrunner's “civilized” Neue Galerie cafes transport you to “fin de siècle Vienna” with “exquisite pastries” and “vonderful” Austrian savories dispensed in “glorious” , “old-worldy” settings; Sabarsky is the “prettier” of the pair while Fledermaus is “easier to get into” , but both are “pretty expensive.”

Very elegant decor. Feels like a real Vienna cafe. Occasionally accompanied by a live music piano. Excellent selection of desserts, drinks, and teas. Nice place to rest after an afternoon/evening at the Met.

Best Apfelstrudel and Topfenstrudel in town. 7 dollars for a coffee (very good one!!!) is a little bit pricey even for this spot...

This place was terrible. Ruined what was a great day at the met... food was horrid and overpriced. Feel sick after eating here. Would rate zero stars if possible. Go elsewhere!!
