"Cutting-edge" takes on Prohibition-era cocktails marry with an "Eclectic and creative" menu of small and large plates at this "rum-centric bar and restaurant" in the French Quarter; a "phenomenal" "young, hip staff" oversees the "charming" interior and courtyard, where the "ambiance feels like old Cuba" – just make sure you know the address, because there's "no signage" outside.

Cane and Table is a uniquely solid spot in my most preferred French quarter nook. The bartenders are always engaging and professional, pouring some of the best cocktails in town. The plates are also gratifying. Great place for a date or meeting up before a night of wandering and socializing.

Can not say enough about this place! Eclectic menu with inspired creations served nightly....And the bartenders really know their stuff. My wife doesn't like whiskey, and they were able to make something that she wouldn't share with me! This is DEFINITELY a local gem, one that the tourists probably overlook, which is a shame. Amazing place, oozing with New Orleans charm, definitely will go there next time I'm in town.

The staff is friendly. The mixed drinks are reasonably priced. And the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It's low lit with pretty good food.
