An "absence of pretension and meat" defines these vegan Japanese spots where the "unusual" food is "expertly prepared" and "surprisingly filling" ; though the "decor leaves a lot to be desired" and a few find the dining "a bit bland" , it's "popular with a young crowd" thanks to "reasonable prices."

The place is lovely. Simple, not too expensive. A good place to meet with a friend at for a chat and simple meal. They offer a solid selection of simple and fancier veggie rolls, soups, appetizers, and noodle dishes. The food is a bit plain in general: lots of different veggies, boiled or steamed just enough, which is not for adventure seekers, but is quite nice. Cash only, but they have an ATM inside.

Always the best Japanese food. They put a lot of work into making each player consistent. Service can be slow because of this, but I always think it's worth the wait.

The noodle soups are the best on the whole menu. Try the tofu skin, mushrooms or plain veggie noodle soups! Their appetizers and sushi are pretty good too!
