“Awesome” Chilean sandwiches – stuffed with meats or veggies, steamed green beans, tomatoes, Muenster cheese and avocado spread – are the draw at this weekdays-only Downtown Crossing joint; it’s counter-serve and looks “like any fast-food, quick-lunch place” , but crowds can “get totally jammed up” during peak midday hours, despite the efforts of the “efficient staff.”

This is a great Chilean sandwich shop offering a unique, yet somewhat limited, menu of sandwiches, sides, and desserts. Don't be dissuaded if there is an enormous line out the door, as the always friendly staff have mastered the assembly line and ensure your sandwich is made to your liking while moving the line faster than any you've stood. My only dissatisfaction is that after the rush hour, I often get a barely warm cut of meat that at other times comes hot off the grill. The little noticed espresso ain't bad either. Ask for the complimentary cookie if they forget. Not to be missed for locals and visitors.

This place is great. My coworkers and I are regulars. Don't let the long line at lunch turn you away. It goes quickly. Also, unless you are allergic to something, get everything on the sandwich.

The sandwish was good, far from great. The sandwish flavor is okay, just needs more filling for that type of bread. The Chilenito was delicious (pastry). I would come back for a pastry 🐴🐴
