Service

"A carnivore's paradise" , this "small" Italian grill in Hancock Park from the superstar team of Nancy Silverton, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich offers a "spectacular" "meat-centric" menu ranging from house-cured salumi and all kinds of "succulent" cuts to large-format plates that are "fab for groups" , not to mention Nancy's "transcendent" focaccia; it's all served by "knowledgeable" staffers who "guide the experience in the best possible way" – i.e. it's a "splurge" worth "trying at least once."

We enjoy the place. We wanted to cancel our reservation but the fee of cancellation is high (40$) per person. Our lucky we didn’t cancel the reservation. The food is very fresh and good and delicious It was very worth to eat there. Enjoy it.

One walks through Mozza to Go and behind the doors there is a quaint and somewhat noisy little gem. Our waiter could have been a bit more helpful in helping us choose , but the platter with a selection of pates and thinly sliced meats were excellent , as was everything else we ordered. If you eat meat, give it a try.

The service was great, the restaurant was very noisy, hard to have a conversation if you have one of the long tables. Food was rich and flavor but very salty for me. Definitely order some greens to go with the pork chop and/or bone marrow pie to balance out the richness.
