American · LoDo · $$$
Located in Union Station's Hotel Born, this sleek New American boasts a dry-aging room and a wood-fired grill commanded by chef Christian Graves, who turns out an adventurous dinner menu centered on (but hardly limited to) chops, as well as breakfast and lunch fare. One of the rare Denver restaurants that isn't just about the "scene". Amazing service, impeccable cocktails, truly delicious food, and perfect ambiance. It's the kind of price range for anniversary/birthday/special occasions dinners, but every bite and sip is absolutely worth the prices. The mushrooms that come with the rabbit dish are one of the most decadent things I have ever put in my mouth. And their house-made ice cream is a must try! Will absolutely be returning.

We had dinner tonight. I ordered the chicken. It was under seasoned and covered with a huge number of tasteless northern beans and sauce. The huge white beans and flavorless sauce added nothing to this dish. The potatoes on duck fat were tasty. And, the roasted root vegetables we're good. The prices were high considering the quality and quantity of the food. Based on my experience, this place is overrated.

Outstanding menu, beverages and service. Easy access in downtown, right by Union Station. It was really busy when we had dinner there. We had made reservations for our group of 7 people. It took a while for the food to arrive, but the wait was worth it. 👍
