Service

“Welcoming” service awaits at this “reliable” “go-to” for “well-fixed” American comfort food and cocktails that are “reasonably priced” for the South End; at least for “weeknight dining” , it’s a “pleasant” choice, with an “upscale neighborhood” vibe to the small, exposed-brick dining room.

Our meals were delicious! Great Cuban and awesome burgers. They have really great service here as well. Everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Great spot!!!!

This is my favorite comfort food--go to restaurant in Boston. The food is excellent, creative and artistically presented. I often order take out (my regular is the succulent chicken dinner) and treat myself and friends to our neighborhood gem. We love the burgers and polenta. Paul is a talented chef and Angela a fine and friendly manager. You will be returning too like the rest of my neighbors and I who think of Coda as a refuge from a hectic day.

I would have rated this place much higher as there was an exceptional bartender that made great cocktails and food was good. But now there is a guy who serves at the bar has the most fake laugh and have had terrible service from him every time. Very disappointing and not going back.
