“Beloved by its own community” , this “buzzy” Morningside Heights New American is a “healthy” haven in “Columbialand” for “nourishing” eats with “locavore-ish” leanings; exuding “good vibes” all day, it's “wildly popular” for brunch, when there's “always a line.”

Comfortable with a rustic flair. The menu has a broad variety of options that will satisfy the vegetarians and carnivores in your group. I enjoyed the artisan sourdough with sweet garlic spread and a local draft. Service was prompt and friendly. Looking for the best Seinfeld fan experience? Skip the standard diner fare across the street, ask for a window seat and then enjoy a great mea with the view you remember from TV.

When I went to Columbia I was truly addicted to this place for breakfast. If you live in the area, the key is to get there right when they open, because during normal breakfast hours this place to too busy. The sausage breakfast with the cranberry jelly was a very “comforting” meal I could have when I felt overwhelmed with study. Worth the wait! Please SERVE TO-GO! Change your policy and let us order TO-GO please!

Food is consistently excellent. I recommend salmon rice bowl; (when they ask you if you want the salmon cooked medium rare, say yes). The zesty dressing is great, and salmon is cooked perfectly. The quiche is excellent as well.
