The Zagat Review
"I've found love, and it's the ice cream" cheer "families" and other fans of these "fun" parlors and their "rich" , "creamy" treats, which include many "unusual" and "imaginative" flavors; a "super-friendly" staff scoops with skill in the "old-time" digs, making it a "perfect spot to cool off" ; P.S. cash only.

Delicious, This place is amazing! Creole creamery is the best ice cream in NOLA! What I like most about Creole Creamery is their wide variety of flavors (especially the new and unique ones that seem to pop up every few weeks). They have more classic flavors too but they're just not on display. Also there's a case entirely dedicated to chocolate flavors! They also offer mini scoop samplers (just don't be a hog). The staff is friendly This is a cash only place and will not expect a credit card.

Delicious creamy inexpensive ice cream! We tried the 6 kinds for $7 and were impressed with the selection. The floral ice creams such as the lavender & honey, the magnolia flowers, and the champagne & Violet were completely mind blowing. All of them were creamy and smoothy and tasted of spring. The Jasmine tea was subtle yet flavorful. Tip: street parking available, & try the 6 mini scoops (they are not that mini)

This place is great. We went late on a Sunday night and the line was almost out the door but moved incredibly fast. I got the "3 scoops" which was SO much ice cream. It was probably more than a pint. Parking was no problem at this location. Also keep in mind they have an 8-scoop 8-topping challenge for $30. I might try that next time I'm in town but I'm not confident I would be able to beat it considering how tough it was to finish my "3 scoops" cup.
