Innovative dishes, fancy ambiance, excellent cocktails, and friendly staff, all in the heart of downtown Boston. Not much to knock! The apps and plates to share are big portions! Suggest the duck wings. The duck dumplings were also amazing and the bread/butter at the beginning might've been my favorite of the night.

An enjoyable brunch with some interesting options, the Biscuits & Sausage Gravy was particularly nice. Forget the pastry baskets, the items are stone cold, served without butter or accompaniment. Coffee was good and strong, served in a tiny cup with no refills offered. Tea was served in a charming cast iron pot. Waitstaff spoke at a barely audible whisper preventing effective communication.

Outstanding modern American food in a convivial setting. The octopus is rightly one of their best selling dishes but I loved their beets too. The monkfish main was beautiful. Highly recommended.
