Curio
Lively spot for West Coast–style seafood
American · French Quarter · $$$
Chef Hayley Vanvleet (Peche, Cochon Butcher) helms this French Quarter bistro, where California-style seafood meets Creole tradition in dishes like steamed coconut-ginger mussels and coriander-spiced blackened redfish, plus wine and cocktails. Originally a 19th-century curio shop, the space channels its eclectic past with colorful artwork, mustard-hued banquettes, black and white floor tiles and a scenic wraparound deck.

This place was a beautiful sight inside and out. My husband and I just wanted to eat a light lunch and we bumped into Curio Bistro. We wanted to sit outside and the style of the restaurant was truly breathtaking. I loved the decor the staff and the menu. We both ordered salads and they were extremely delicious. I really enjoyed this place and I recommend it to anyone going to New Orleans. We felt refreshed and good to continue our day without feeling bloated. The food was amazing and I cannot rage enough about this place.

Fantastic, I tend to enjoy the people I work with and they do a he'll of a job. I'm thankful to be surrounded by such open minded diversity that I couldn't be more proud of everyone I work with. Thank everyone for your hard work and special meaning in multiple lives. The food is great, our staff is genuine and no matter the price point or dining style, we will do our best to accommodate everyone to the best of our abilities. There are great futures for the people whom work here. Ask questions if you're unsure. We have the knowledge, relax and enjoy the experience. Don't think of it as dining, think of it as an entertainment experience. Don't expect song and dance, we want you to love the restaurant itself. The service is a pleasure. Thank you

We happened upon this little jewel while searching for a lunch spot that could accommodate us vegans and our omnivore friends. This fit the bill perfectly.. from the lovely decor to attentive service to our delicious lunch it was a cozy way to escape the February rain.
