The Houston outposts of this homegrown cantina mini-chain are a favorite for “upscale Mexican food” backed by “potent” margaritas in “lively, upbeat” environs; service and setting vary by locale, but they all boast a well-attended happy hour.

I’ve always loved coming here & would have given 5 stars til this past Saturday. I’m not a cruel uncaring person BUT when you go to an establishment like Cyclone Anaya’s & PAY good money..because this place IS NOT cheap at all... I should be able to come here, sit outside & enjoy the beautiful weather INSTEAD of having homeless people & strangers walk up to me asking for money. Of course I feel for people that aren’t in a good place BUT I also expect the establishment to make sure they take every precaution to have their customers feel safe & to be able to enjoy their time here with family & friends. More attention needs to be applied to this unpleasantry...You can’t be too careful nowadays & I doubt I’ll be back.

Fantastic lunch at Cyclone once again! Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the late April breeze. Service was quick and efficient and the food was excellent as always. Seafood Ceviche was fresh and spiced just right! Chips were warm and the salsa was spicy. All in all an excellent working lunch spot. Next time for dinner, to enjoy a couple margaritas.

If you are black, don't go here. If you still do, don't expect good service. Especially for a Sunday Funday. The bartender we had (Hispanic male) clearly assumed we wouldn't tip and that it was in his best interest to take his time. We waited, patiently, for him to acknowledge us. After 15 minutes or so he said 'are you ready' like HE had been waiting on US for that whole time. When we spoke to the manager about it, he just said 'that sucks' and offered no apology or any attempt to correct the situation. Consider yourself warned.
