Dal Rae Restaurant
Steakhouse delivering old-school glamour

The Zagat Review
"Frozen in time" , this '50s-era Pico Rivera "period piece" lays on the "charm" with a "brilliant" menu of "upscale" American steakhouse "classics" from "years past" (e.g. "incredible" tableside Caesar salad, "thick-cut prime rib" , cherries jubilee) delivered by "knowledgeable" "tuxedoed" waiters who "make you feel like an old friend" ; if your wallet can handle the "pricey" tabs, grab your sweetie, slide into a "big booth" in the "classy" "wood-paneled" dining room, "relax and enjoy."

Great place for a date calm dim environment. The peppered steak is the special and it is pretty good. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day and it is a great place to have a romantic dinner. Be prepared to spend over $100 and also there's only vallet parking here which is $4.50. The food and environment is great along with the staff so far I had a good experience here.

This restaurant has been here since my childhood 50 years ago and always has represented the epitome of fine dining in the area. We go there on special occasions because the experience is so special, from the decor, to the service, to the food. Only a few restaurants prepare your baked potato or banana flambeau for you at your table. We have always left happy.

It was my first time at this iconic restaurant. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays and still retained it's mid century charm. The service was impeccable. I ordered a prime rib beef dip sandwich. It was more expensive than a regular sandwich and absolutely worth it. The beef was so tender it was amazing. Their menu changes daily so go check it out.
