The Zagat Review
“Rivaling any place in Manhattan” , this Forest Hills “gem” is a “low-key” neighborhood retreat that's beloved for its “excellent” European fare, “fabulous” wine list and “on-the-mark” service, all offered at “Queens prices” ; if that’s not enough, there's a “can’t-be-beat” prix fixe deal on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

I enjoyed this place a lot. The ambiance was lovely and the location just beautiful. I encourage anyone dining here to plan to take a walk around Forest Hills Gardens before or after dinner--it will make the whole experience quite majestic. That being said, I thought the portion sizes were way too small for the expensive prices. Perhaps I'm spoiled because I lived in the East Village prior to moving to Queens, where places like Danny Brown were a dime a dozen and you could easily find one that would thoroughly feed you for a semi reasonable price. That's not to say I wouldn't come back. I would just prefer bigger portions or lower prices so I could order more food.

A gem of a restaurant that can proudly boast and live up to its reputation as the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Queens. Have been here twice and enjoyed each visit. The grilled calamari with white beans and ricotta gnocchi appetizers are delectable and the fish, duck confit and steak entrees are cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a nice relaxed vibe and you can tell it's a great neighborhood spot. Would gladly dine here again.
