“A hit all around” , these “energetic” Midtown steakhouses hum like “a well-oiled machine” as an “engaged” staff sets down “premium” beef in “sprawling” surrounds with “urbane” vibes and a “power bar scene” ; they’re perpetually “packed” with “suits” wielding the “corporate Amex” to cover the “splurge” ; P.S. “definitely try the lemon cake.”

Best place for a celebratory dinner. Even for a vegetarian! The classic and lovely steakhouse atmosphere is brightened by the views of NYC street life.
My carnivore husband was happy and sated with the rib-eye. He especially loved the way it was seasoned and that it was perfectly rare. He was also quite happy with the shoestring fries. Having been there before, I knew to ask for some of their avocado Green Goddess Dressing to go with my hot bread. It’s like a green Ranch Dressing with huge chunks of avocado and reason enough for a vegetarian to venture into a steakhouse. I had Del’s Uptown Potatoes which are baked potatoes with melted fontina cheese and absolutely covered with shaved truffle. They are like a religious experience. The asparagus with roasted almond was also delightful but frankly nothing compares to those potatoes. Dessert was Chocolate Souffle Cake that was rich and warm with a molten center, plated on raspberry puree and garnished with fresh raspberries. It was accompanied by a scoop of cocoa-dusted vanilla ice cream. We also shared a slice of lemon cake which was moist and sweet and tart. Just perfect! Our waiter, Thomas G was warm and helpful and unobtrusive.

Our outdoor waiter was amazing....Brian but when we had to move inside because of the rain the service was extremely slow. Food was a 10-10. Had to go upstairs to go to the restroom. Very inconvenient when drinking beer. Employee at the bottom of the stairs, host? was Very rude. Also, enjoyed the atmosphere outside, but when we did move inside very loud inside and hard to have a conversation at our own table. Will definitely try at another location as the food was great!

We were there on Father's Day. Service was enthusiast and average. The steaks are really good. The Wagyu Tomahawk Chop was exceptional. The dessert portions were huge but lack presentation. We spent 3 hours there and were not rushed. It's a pricey restaurant. Good but not great.
