“Almost like being in California” , this LES “hipster hangout” specializes in “healthy-ish” , “simple” fare like “delicious” grain bowls, toasts and big salads; it’s especially known for its popular brunch ( “expect waits” ) when an “under 30 crowd” packs into the basic but cheerful space.

This place is lovely. Get an acai bowl for sure. You really can't go wrong with any of them, but we got the banana and date bowl. And get the beet toast. Definitely get the beet toast.

The flavours were all great, there were some elements that missed the mark just in terms of texture and it felt like some ingredients were just thrown in. We got the cod and the steak. The steak was quite tough. The ratatouille appetizer was the favourite of the night. Update: went here for brunch. The drinks were surprisingly bad. Bloody Mary was really bitter and the mimosa didn’t taste like mimosa. If you and your dining companions are really hungry the portion size are on the small side, better go else where or be prepared to eat at two different places. I’m keeping the 4 star because the taste is on point and the interior is very cute.

Its a small place that serves small portions. Not my cup of tea. Tables are far too close to each other. You cant help but hear the conversation of the table next to you (alot of obnoxiously loud people lol)... beer menu doesnt have any mainstream brands (kind of a let-down). Good service though.
