Housed in the CBD's “beautiful” Roosevelt Hotel, this “casual, cosmopolitan” kitchen from John Besh and "talented" chef-owner Alon Shaya features “heavenly good” , wood-fired pizzas (toppings range from “simple and delectable” to “foodie fabulous” ), plus “house-cured meats and sausages” and other “contemporary Italian” dishes, all served by a “well-trained” team; the chic, “high-energy” establishment is “always packed” and “can get a bit loud” , especially during the “can't-be-beat” happy hour, but “that's part of the charm."

Stumbled across this one on our first night in NOLA. Great food and dining room. Knowledgeable staff and not as expensive as the location and decor might imply. Nice NYC inspired thin crust pizza, likely wood fired oven. Impressive wine selection. Downside, restroom is a block away, seriously. Enter on Barrone Street, cross Roosevelt Hotel lobby near the Roosevelt Lane doors for the Men's Room. Will visit again next trip.

A great expereince starts when you walk through the door. The staff at this restaurant did everything possible to make our evening special. If the service rated a 10, the meal made the evening even more memorable. Everything we had was excellent. We weren’t rushed or pushed during the start of the most busy season in New Orleans. Really pleased to dine there and will return.

Trendy and unique interior as soon as you walk in. The bar is warm and inviting with a fresh display of cured meats. They have a great happy hour with specials on beer and wine as well as half priced pizzas. This is the time to come and try all of their specialty pizzas! You can even do half and half pizzas to give you more chance to try it all. The menu boasts a full list of classic Italian dishes, meats, and cheese. Come for a quick bite during happy hour or enjoy a very nice date night.
