Wow! What an amazing experience! The hummus and pita was delicious. We loved the grilled octopus, and don’t even get me started on how good the braised short rib and Branzinho was. Add to that the amazing service by our server, Eric, and the friendly conversation with the manager, Francesca. This was, without a doubt, one of the best meals my wife and I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend!

The lamb pita was just okay. Certain bites were incredibly salty and other bites would taste completely bland. Definitely expected more given the price. Someone had recommended the grilled octopus, but it was almost room temperature when it came out, like it'd been sitting at the pass for too long. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty standard for places in the area. On the classier side with low lighting. The place just doesn't stand out.

I highly suggest Doretta Taverna! Came across it on Seated and decided to check it out - one of my best decisions this week. The vibe was great- the lighting, artwork, and overall atmosphere were very contemporary but funky! The service was fantastic- I felt like a VIP from the second I walked in. The food was incredible- the beet dip was an unexpected favorite! GET THE GRILLED OCTOPUS! Cooked to perfection. We also had the spinach pie, spicy lamb meatballs, and crispy eggplant. All were delicious. Definitely recommend the Medusa Locus cocktail- SO GOOD. GET IT!
