This “cool” East Villager “wows” with “exotic” dishes like “succulent” smoked meats (chicken wings, duck, goat neck) with “huge” Asian, Creole and Southern flavors; “interesting” drinks are another reason the small, “hipster” -friendly space is “crowded at peak hours.”

One of the best places I've dined at in the City. I'm a recent transplant to the US/NY State and a fat kid at heart. When I eat out in the US, it always feels like an experience--like I'm eating out. The goat neck and collared green combo that I had here, however, felt super familiar and homely, and was amazingly delicious to boot! The collared green was quite salty, but paired perfectly with rice and meat. The drink special (huckleberry finn) was quite good, too, if a bit sweet. Service was friendly and quick despite it being peak hours (7:30 res on a Friday night). It's not a cheap meal--the goat neck was not particularly big--but it definitely was good. Near the end of our meal, a large group of 10 or 12 came in and sat next to us and were extremely loud, boisterous, and would not stop moving and detracted from our meal but this certainly was not the restaurant's fault!

The oak smoked ribs covered with crab apple vinegar and mint were so tasty! Also really enjoyed eating the fried artichoke with cacao and chamomile deep and sumac....great combination of flavours! Very innovative.

The most delicious food you can taste. No it is heaven. A small cute little restaurant in the lower East side that you easily miss but don't. You must try the goat neck. Like omg !!! Delicious.the pudding desert with the smocked cream .. like how did you think if it ??? Go go go.
