This “cool” East Villager “wows” with “exotic” dishes like “succulent” smoked meats (chicken wings, duck, goat neck) with “huge” Asian, Creole and Southern flavors; “interesting” drinks are another reason the small, “hipster” -friendly space is “crowded at peak hours.”

I’m with the infatuation review - ew. Last night this kitchen dumped a canister of cumin in a pot of clams and reduce it til clams were super chewy and all is left is cumin paste. Still getting the taste out of my mouth. The ribs were boiled everything was over seasoned nothing paired together. I think they must skirt by on their awesome hh cocktails and outdoor seating.

Very unique restaurant, the wings are full of flavor and fried perfectly. The rice and beans seemed dry but still full of flavor.

Both the baked goods and the meats here are crazy good. Our group shared the pumpkin waffles with duck confit, eggs benedict, shrimp and grits, bacon, and andouille sausage, and got beignets with chocolate for dessert. With every single dish that arrived, someone in our party had to sit back in awe at how good each thing was. The waitstaff is cool, and they play great music. Very chill atmosphere. This place is going into our brunch rotation
