Chef Alma Alcocer-Thomas is "finally in her own spot" at this Bouldin Creek Mexican dishing up "fresh, inventive" "interior" fare plus "tasty, strong" margaritas; the "cheery, bustling" setting comprises white stucco walls and colorful paintings, plus a "sweet" rooftop patio, a favorite spot for weekend brunch.

Very small place when the patio isn't accessible. I had their breakfast tacos off of the brunch menu, but they were great! I also enjoyed a margarita infused with cilantro and poblano pepper and it was deliciously unique! The green sauce was yummy, but the red sauce could use some improvement. They offered a black eyed pea salsa on New Year's Day that was very interesting!

Interesting food with a great view. Cactus tacos are worth trying but the avocado was mushy. Lamb was flavorful as well.

Great location and feel, however the restaurant overall was dirty and lacking sanitation. Food was decent, but for the price per plate was expecting cut above. Overall would give it another try, but not entirely impressed.
