This Mexican-inspired seafood restaurant comes from the same family as El Chile, El Chilito and El Sapo, with delicacies from the sea spanning Gulf oysters and crab cakes to ceviche, plus cocktails and an extensive wine list. The Bouldin Creek setting boasts a nautical theme, with a bright interior featuring big windows and a giant mural of an octopus.

The recently refurbished old South Austin restaurant building now has a clean and airy feel to it with polished concrete floors, basket light fixtures, and sun streaming in through windows draped with nautical macramé. A large bar dominates the dining room, the furniture is comfortable, and the graceful octopus logo adorns both the interior and exterior whitewashed walls. Everything about this place says vacation at the beach.

Great looking menu, pretty pricey. They have some pretty good brunch specials though. The cafe Camila is pretty tasty and the bartender was attentive the whole time.

Fresh decor and even fresher food. Finally found a good michelada in Austin. Happy hour food and drinks are a steal. A favorite spot.
