This “vibrant” pizzeria duo serves “out-of-this-world” Neapolitan pies with “perfectly charred” crusts and “inventive” toppings – though some swear the “killer” (but limited-supply) burger is the real “showstopper” ; the Clinton Hill original specializes in rectangular pies, while the West Village outpost offers round too, but both spots are "tight" , so make a reservation or expect "absurdly long" waits.

Make a reservation. We were told it would be 1 1/2 hour wait... didn't have that time to wait. Sadly we left to find a different venue. Look and feel? I liked that it was busy and clean. Food looked excellent...

Rude staff. Wood-fired pizza extremely overpowered by the garlic - and I LOVE garlic. The Grammy (pizza) had a mere two globs of sauce leaving 90% of a red sauce-based pizza with no sauce at all which is not enough in regards to a thicker crust za; when I politely asked for a side of sauce the server returned with a bowl of almost frozen/extremely cold sauce, really?! Such a bummer considering the great reviews all locations have received and thus my expectations were wildly disappointed. Would have left only one star if they didn't serve the wine at proper temperature - well done on that front. I'm hoping it was an off night and the staff was simply just miserable because the restaurant was open during a snow storm - which the hostess made clear when she told us how annoyed she was that she had to commute in to work that evening rather than the restaurant just close due to the snow. And furthermore hoping they haven't just spread themselves too thin with opening more locations. Definitely worth a second chance based on the plethora of great reviews and also because it would be such a lovely addition to the neighborhood, and the city, to have a Sicilian/pan style pizza option that's legit. 🤞

Pretty good. Food was great. Unusually large amount of bald men, though. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
