A "semi-speakeasy" behind a semi-hidden entrance, this "sceney" but "relaxed" West Villager ranks among the "all-time favorites" for "phenomenal cocktails" via "bartenders who treat their craft as an art" ; since it "tends to get packed" , those in the know employ it as a "late-night alternative."

Some of the best cocktails in the city. A small bar space creates a very unique almost speak easy feel. Wait time on drinks is not long despite the the often crowded scene which is a testament to the bar staff. Seated dining is an option and if possible try to get a table near the back for more space.

We loved our kick stop to Employees only. The place is beautiful, it reminded us of Paris cocktail bars, vibe is nice, not pretentious, and I really liked the bartenders: they gave great advice when asking questions on which cocktail to pick and they seemed to really like working together. Most importantly the cocktails were DELICIOUS! We tried a few places in NYC during our trip and both of our cocktails at EO were the best we’ve had. Tip: sit at the bar, it’s much more fun and you can watch the bartenders doing their magic :)

A hallway like bar that is consistently packed well into the night with great music and a fabulous burlesque number! The bartenders are very skilled mixologists and the drinks were fantastic! If you want a table for two or for a larger group, make sure to get a reservation in advance.
