The Zagat Review
These separately owned “blue-ribbon” “red-sauce palaces” in the Bronx dish out “down-home” Italian standards in mammoth portions and toss in some “old-school charm” on the side; the “unpretentious” staff “treats you like family” , so embrace the “time warp” – and “don't fill up on the bread.”

Service was great and even though very busy they were able to seat us quickly without a reservation. On our visit they only had a limited menu available and the prices were higher for the same entrees that are on the normal menu. I wish they would have advised us of the limited menu prior to seating us as my son's favorite item was not on the limited menu. I was also with two of my younger children and they would not let us order a pizza or any other kids type menu item and would only allow selections from the special menu. I would have gladly paid the same price for the bar pizza as the entree I had to order for one of my sons not to eat. The food is very good and they are always crowded and they are usually worth the money but just not on this trip. Was a little disappointed

Excellent. Best meal we’ve had in 10 days in NY. David was an especially fine advisor on food and wine. We didn’t know they had booked a large number of graduation families. But they never for a moment tried to rush us out Alan McGarrigle. Australia

Our entire family, eighteen grandchildren and their parents, 31 in all, was treated to the most enjoyable dining experience ever! Following a morning trip to the Holiday Train Show , we had made reservations for lunch at Enzo's. We were escorted to a private dining room beautiful;y set for us. Our waiter, Mike immediately set the tone of congeniality and warmth, offering suggestions for the children : family style pizza as an appetizer followed by their own individual orders. Each child, down to the youngest, at 2, was invited to select their own entree. The adults enjoyed family style appetizers as well, followed by the most delicious array of entrees. It was top notch, from beginning to end! We will certainly return to this welcoming restaurant and carry many memories to cherish! * Special thanks to Andrew for coordinating this special time.
