A "hip crowd" creates a "buzzy" vibe at this Downtown New American, "one of the hottest tickets in town" whose "adventurous" , "flavor-packed" shared plates, "exquisite cocktails" poured by "talented" bartenders (yes, "you can smoke absinthe!" ) and "sumptuous" vintage decor are all "high" on the "wow factor" ; if you've got the "expense account" for such "understated coolness" , it's a "new standard bearer."

Faith and Flower was a good eating spot. I shared various items from the lunch menu. I had the, burger, which was good. Some of their portions are a little small, but overall the prices were appropriate. Their menu had a wide variety of different types of food. I will definitely come back to try out different dishes. During lunch time, it also became very crowded.

For my very 1st trip to LA, I ended up in Downtown to meet with a friend for dinner. She is vegan and I am trying to eat healthier so we started to search online for a place that would be close to where we both were at the time and would fit her diet needs. She found the place and as I walked to meet her there, I immediately was taken with the outside setting and the atmosphere. This place surpassed our needs and wants. We sat outside which on Oct 13th was a little chilly but the staff turned on the heat laps and made it so comfortable. From the unique menus to the place settings to the family style setup with the meals, we were both very impressed with everything. We shared a very vegan friendly meal and had some of the best drinks that I have had to date. The wide variety and selection of liquors was impressive for two whiskey drinkers. The pricing was comfortable I guess for LA prices and definitely recommend it for a nice dinner out with friends or romantic date night. It is on my list to visit again. And our server Molly rocked!!! She made sure we were taken care of and gave her suggestions while ensuring we had our space to keep our conversation going and enjoy a night of two friends catching up.

It's a swanky place in downtown. Expect great food, hipster designer cocktails, and a trendy crowd starting their night or coming in for a night cap. Prices are as you would expect from this type of place so be ready to splurge. This place being so close to LA live is a huge convenience.
