I had a truly amazing experience at Farallon. I went with the chef's selection and had a spectacular seven course meal over a well-paced 3 hours. I really enjoyed my booth seat and view of the kitchen. It's clear that the head chef (who's been there for three years) knows his trade and he has built a high performing team. Thanks for the great meal and experience. I'd definitely recommend.

My wife was looking for a romantic dinner after we were able to get someone to watch the kids. The wait staff is exemplary and the happy hour menu was fantastic. The oysters were incredible (fresh shucked for the win), the ceviche was out of this world, and I seem to have run out of exemplars to describe the drinks and dessert. The prices while high are reflected in the quality of the food, wonderful ambience, and stupendous manners and service of the weight staff. It is worth the price if you can swing it.

We had a perfectly fabulous evening on March 2nd.! I’ll It is rare to find a restaurant that has such professional, knowledgeable and engaging staff. We ordered mixed drinks as well as wine, all excellent. Oysters were very fresh and perfectly presented. I loved my trout and my husband could hardly share a bite of his short ribs! Our friend got the steak which was perfectly cooked but if I ever order it , I will ask for less salt. The bread pudding dessert was a big hit! The decor and general ambiance at Farallon is full of grace, and it offers a rare opportunity to have a private conversation in a public place. Before we left, our waiter told us about their amazing happy hour menu. We certainly will have to come back often!
