Atop "lovely Russian Hill" where you can "watch the cable cars pass by" , this "intimate" "date-night" destination "couldn't be more charming" , with a "well-conceived" Cal-Med menu and a "thoughtfully curated" wine list; "attentive" staffers contribute to the "cozy" mood, so fans ignore seating that's "a bit tight" and parking that's "a drag."

An intimate setting with a personal service touch you only get from an owner-operated establishment. A solid wine menu is basically expected in San Fran but the food was perfectly prepared from a menu that offered something for everyone. Home made ice cream caps off an excellent meal / experience.

Totally awesome. Quaint and quiet neighborhood restaurant. Yelp said no reservations were available but we walked in and there was lots of seating. Sidewalk was a great outdoor spot on this hot Saturday. Had great wine, delicious bread, superb garlic gnocchi and excellent lamb pasta. Many small restaurants like this serve good food but this one was outstanding. Deserts look good too but historic Swenson's is just up at the end of the block. Just saying.

Great food. The Apple cobbler dessert was incredible! Brian was the greatest waiter, thank you!
