“After deep analysis” , fans find the “modern” Austrian cuisine “insanely delicious” at this “more grown-up” Village cousin to Edi & the Wolf; the “comfortable” farmhouse-chic space “gets busy” (plus “noisy” ), but overall it's considered a “great addition to the neighborhood.”

The food at this place is nice. The Schnitzel is very tasty. The deserts (only two available) were both delicious. The cocktails are ok but nothing special. I am only giving three stars because the staff, while very friendly, was also super slow and not attentive.

Beautiful restaurant with great food (the burger is excellent) and all of the staff is lovely. One of my favorite restaurants! Highly recommend and there is a great happy hour menu.

Freud is the sister restaurant of Edi & the Wolf in the EV. The menu are similar as both offer Austrian cuisine. While I found Edi to be full of you hipster EV kids Freud is the more mature reserved and quite. It felt a little stuffier, maybe a bit more diner-esque. Service was excellent. Our server friendly. The food was good. It was certainly an enjoyable meal although the Apfelstrudel could have used a bit more Crème Anglaise sauce! Given the choice though I think I like the younger sister in the EV. I just thought it felt more fun but that is subjective.
