Service

“Caring” service overseen by “natural host” Gabriel Aiello sets the “classy” tone at this “even-keeled” Columbus Circle Italian known for “delicious” cooking, a “comfortable” setting and proximity to Lincoln Center; given the rather “hefty” tabs, “media” types from nearby CBS and CNN prefer it for lunch.

The owner, Gabriel, is amazing. He makes sure that you are have an amazing dining experience, suggesting his best dishes and drinks to go with. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. Also, my favorite beer, Allagash White is on tap there :) extra points for that

A memorable evening with phenomenal food and outstanding service for our private party of 24. Owner Gabriel worked with me every step of the way on a special menu and excellent wine selection. Our clients are still raving about their experience at Gabriel's. I scoped out Gabriel's incognito prior to the party and was delighted with my ravioli and with superb service. Everything is made on-site. Highly recommended for parties large and small.

Gabriel's is a class act! From the moment you enter, Gabriel's exudes high-quality. The menu isn't the biggest but the food that they offer is always, always, top-notch, and expertly prepared. I have never had a bad experience here. There is a very welcoming bar, areas to sit for appetizers and a drink, and then the lovely and cozy restaurant for a delicious meal. They also have a small private room off to the side that accommodates about 30 people. If there's a party you it doesn't interfere at all with the restaurant. What really makes Gabriel's special, is Gabriel himself. He is attentive, and he seems continent eager-to-please. He is such a great host, and he has such an open personality. He's very much involved in the running of his a terrific restaurant. All the ingredients are top quality and fresh. The location steps from Central Park, from Columbus Circle, from the Subways and buses, make Gabriel's easy to get to. The atmosphere and the food makes Gabriel's easy to love!
