“Truly addictive” noodles are what it’s about at this Downtown Brooklyn Japanese, which slings “well-made” ramen and other quick bites ( “you can’t go wrong with the wings” ); a streamlined setup with a “friendly” “hipster staff” , it’s “much needed in the neighborhood.”

4.22.18 - It's not a bad bowl of ramen, but it's absolutely uninspired. The broth is okay, the noodles is alright, and the other ingredients are good. It's a decent bowl of ramen, but for what you pay for you can get better in NYC. However, considering how there's no other bowl to challenge Ganso in Downtown Brooklyn, it'll stand out. ***Original Review*** Generally a solid bowl of Ramen, albeit it can be a little over seasoned sometimes. The wings are tasty, but sometimes too sweet. The Spicy Ramen is just right. Definitely go as it's consistently good and the staff is attentive and nice!

I have come to Ganso several times and I am always satisfied. The selection is diverse, yet focused and each dish complements one another. The waitstaff is solid and could be more attentive when I am waving to pay the check...but that is more a flaw of the hospitality system as a whole. Shout out to the infatuation app for showing me this hot spot.

Got a small bottle of their cheaper Sake with dinner and they charged around $30 for it. $17 a bowl is not that crazy of a price for Ramen in NYC but at least offer some more affordable beverage options. Have had better Ramen experiences for half the price.
