The Zagat Review
This “great-value” UWS “favorite” offers all-day dining à la “Vermont” via a “simple” American comfort-food menu; the “no-frills” setting sports “cute farm decor” and also offers outdoor seating, although “painful waits” are the norm at weekend brunch.

Came in on a whim tonight around 7 to avoid the chilly rain and had a fantastic time. I sat at the bar and ordered the chili and mac and cheese. Both were great, but the best part of my night was definitely the service. Bartender (can't remember his name, but he was wearing an Adidas sweatshirt!) was super attentive and very easy going. I think the owner seated me, and he was always coming back over asking me how my food was and if I needed anything. Food came out in a very timely manner, with my salad (comes with the mac and cheese) and chili arriving within 5 minutes of my ordering and my mac and cheese arriving shortly after I finished them. Also, Dan, another bartender, was by far the highlight of my trip to New York, so entertaining! Next time I'm on the east coast, I'll be back.

Great pancakes, great eggs, great coffee, and really good biscuits. The strawberry butter is amazing! Their service was very good too. The hostess was really sweet. We sat at the bar and the bartender was pleasant even though she was very busy as she was alone. All in all it was a great experience!

Great food but not great for guests with babies. We are frequent patrons of Good Enough to Eat, love their brunch. However we came today with our infant son in a small, compact stroller and they would not attempt to accommodate us, nor were they apologetic about their inability to accommodate us. Our child can’t sit up on his own and needed to stay in stroller, so we had to take our business elsewhere. I guess we will go back when our children are older.
