“Must-have” grilled corn, “addicting” Cuban sandwiches and “strong” margaritas are highlights on the “tasty, affordable” menu at these “buzzy” Cuban-Mexican kitchens with sister to-go outlets; the “tiny” “dinerlike” NoLita original is “usually packed” with a “young” crowd, while “it’s all about the garden” at the seasonal, solar-powered Fort Greene outpost.

This is the sister restaurant of Cafe Habana. Everything tastes the same but the menu is a little different. Unlike Cafe Habana, there's no brunch specials or entree style items here. I'm from NYC and now living in LA. I believe East coast Cuban food is better than west coast. We always stop by for their mind blowing Cuban sandwich and Elote corn every time we're visiting NYC. The Sloppy Joe sandwich is another favorite. The meat is what makes a difference. I'd usually just get the regular stuff because that's what I love and that's what they make best. Just know that you'll love them as much as I do!

Best Cuban sandwiches in the city! Need to go back soon! There's a sit down table service place on the corner than a fast food counter/to go spot up the block. Everything I've had is amazing.
