A generally “innovative” take on Mexican cooking can be found at this NoHo hang where “elevated” small plates are paired with “amazing” margaritas; maybe it’s no longer the neighborhood “star” it once was, but it’s still “good for groups.”

this place is chill. I came here on a Tuesday night for a drink. They have a restaurant side and a bar side, I would recommend the restaurant side. I came at the right time for happy hour and the menu does differ from bar to restaurant, but the bar gets crowded at this time. $8 margaritas - and they are good! I had the pineapple one and the chili grapefruit one. I liked the latter better. We also got the cheese with nachos on the happy hour menu- good bar food but not really outstanding. the place itself has lots of wood and smaller tables- good tapas setting. service was good and the waitress was able to get us the happy hour menu from the bar side since she was registered at the bar as well- score! I'll be back for sure.

Terrible service. I walked in looking for food and drinks and after 15 minutes waiting, I called out the waiter who proceeded to insult me. Simply bad

Fantastic margaritas! All of the food was delicious, but what stood out for me the most were the vegetable and seafood dishes. Specifically the: - Pescadillas: Corn quesadillas filled with red snapper, chile habanero, onion, and cilantro. - Esquites: Grilled corn off the cob, queso fresco, mayo, lime, and chile piquin. - Pulpo a Plancha: Roasted octopus, tomatillo marmalade, salsa romesco.
