While I was in town on business last week, I happened upon this place and was drawn in by the donuts that they had sitting in the window. They looked delicious! I walked in and stood at the counter, waiting to order, and the woman behind the counter was getting a coffee for someone. After she dropped the coffee off, she returned to the far side of the counter and began typing on her phone. I said "I'm ready to order" and, without looking up from her phone, she responded by saying "someone will be right with you." She then proceeded to stand there, without looking at me, just typing on her phone. A minute later, another woman walked in with a backpack on, walked to the far end of the counter, dropped her back, and then walked to the register, where I was standing. Acting as though it was a bother to serve me, she asked "what do you want?" She wasn't smiling and looked very bothered that I was ordering something. I asked for two donuts, paid, and left. When I got back to the hotel, only a few minutes away, I enjoyed eating the donuts that I'd purchased. The maple bar was very good, one of the best maple bars that I've had in a long time. However, the "Homer Simpson," which is strawberry lemonade flavored (or something like that), was not good at all. The icing was fantastic, but for some reason, the dough seemed to be incredibly salty. After two bites, I ended up throwing the rest out. Overall, the experience wasn't the worst I've had, but it was far from good. The staff was very unfriendly and bordered on souring the experience. The maple bar got close to redeeming the experience, but with the poor taste of the Homer Simpson, it didn't quite happen. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back to this establishment and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. If you are going to get the donuts, and happen to like maple bars, I would suggest getting one or two. It was the only positive about my experience there.
